Award nominees are solicited and voted on by NAPA members with evaluation criteria that include current and new defined contribution assets under management and the number of defined contribution plans for the past 12 and 24 months. In 2017, approximately 500 candidates were considered for the award and 75 candidates received the award (approximately 15%). In 2019, approximately 500 candidates were considered for the award and 100 candidates received the award (approximately 20%). The recipient did not pay a fee to participate in the survey. The award may not be representative of any one client’s experience because the rating reflects an average of all, or a sample of all, of the experiences of the advisors’ clients. Receipt of the award is not indicative of future performance.
